As a Pediatric Feeding Therapist, this advanced course was transformative in enhancing my capabilities for treating infants pre and post frenectomy. Michelle EMmanel is full to knowledge, especially nervous system integration mixed with feeding and babies with tight mouths and bodies. It honed my skills in optimizing the movement of the infant's face, tongue, jaw, neck, and body. Here's what I learned and mastered:

Advanced Oral Function Techniques: I gained expertise in specific interventions that significantly improve oral function in infants. Michelle's Suck Training Protocol: This was a key highlight, providing me with a structured method to enhance suck function, a critical aspect of pediatric feeding therapy. Wound Care Knowledge: I learned essential care strategies for post-frenectomy, vital for the infants' recovery. Cervical Auscultation Skills: This added a new dimension to my assessment and treatment strategies, allowing for more precise and effective therapy. Frenectomy Timing: Understanding the optimal timing for frenectomy was crucial, as it directly impacts therapeutic outcomes.

Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team expanded my perspective on holistic care. This course not only deepened my theoretical knowledge but also refined my practical skills, making me more proficient in addressing the complex needs of my young clients in pediatric feeding therapy
